Canterbury, Herne Bay & Whitstable is one of 200 local CAMRA branches, covering the three main towns in the area plus outlying villages.

As well as supporting CAMRA's national and local campaigns, the branch has an active social calendar. We also hold regular meetings to discuss CAMRA business, either at a pub in the branch area or virtually.

The branch area was home to the Kent Beer Festival and we organise the CAMRA Cricket Tents at Kent County Cricket Club’s annual Cricket Week, held in Canterbury. We also collaborate with Swale Branch of CAMRA to run a street bar at the colourful Faversham Hop Festival..
