Rye Pub Trail
We travelled to the historic town of Rye for our latest pub trail.

15 of us made the trip and had a wonderful time. Of particular note was The Old Bell where both the IPA and the Harvey's ran out as we entered, but the bar staff did a brilliant job of quickly getting new barrels online and pulled through and our pints didn't disappoint.

We also discovered a new microbrewery venture in Garage Culture - a great place to visit - where Joe made us feel very welcome and we were honoured to be given an opportunity to taste test and comment on his first batch of Session Best.

We also met Alan and Karen from Eastbourne branch there who joined us in the Waterworks where we finished the day, as usual.

Although we produce an itinerary and rough timings for the pubs we hope to visit on our pub trails - as much as anything for the benefit of the pubs so they know when we will be descending upon them - our pub trails are very informal and people are free to join or leave at any time.
