This was a mini tour around Canterbury. We met at the Monument at 1pm and took it from there. The full itinerary was:

• 13:00 to 13:55 Monument.
• 14:00 to 15:00 Unicorn.
• 15:15 to 16:15 We were planning on visiting The Foundry, especially as they have a new Foundry Stout on cask that's worth trying, but they told us on our earlier recce that they couldn't reserve a table for us and didn't want us standing at the bar, so we gave it a miss and went to Lady Luck instead, where we had a great time.
• 16:30 to 17:45 Thomas Becket. In contrast to the Foundry, Drex offered to book tables for us.
• 18:00 to when we felt we'd had enough Thomas Tallis.

We didn't include the New Inn as we will be visiting its beer festival next weekend.

Thanks to Drex we had the whole of the rear area to ourselves at Thomas Becket

Where better to settle into a sofa at the end of the day than Thomas Tallis

Although we produce an itinerary and rough timings for the pubs we hope to visit on our pub trails - as much as anything for the benefit of the pubs so they know when we will be descending upon them - our pub trails are very informal and people are free to join or leave at any time.
