For our second Good Beer Guide pub trail of January 2026, we visited the Herne Bay pubs on January 10th.

There was a great turnout for the day, and lots of good beers to try. The pubs we visited were as follows:

• Bouncing Barrel
• Pub
• Firkin Frog
• Cosmic Sailor

Thanks to the pubs for their hospitality.

Although we produce an itinerary and rough timings for the pubs we hope to visit on our pub trails - as much as anything for the benefit of the pubs so they know when we will be descending upon them - our pub trails are very informal and people are free to join or leave at any time.
